Chive & Prawn Tagliatelle

INGREDIENTS

  • 300g tagliatelle
  • 50g butter
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 200g cooked, peeled tiger prawns
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives, from a living pot of chives
  • Juice of ½ lemon

If you love prawn tagliatelle, you will adore our chive and prawn tagliatelle. With the chives mild onion-like flavour and a hint of garlic, the chives give this already great dish that extra splash of flavour to really make you say wow. 

For the prawns, we use peeled tiger prawns but you can use whatever type prawns you prefer, but it's good to bare in mind that you will probably want them peeled for ease of eating with your tagliatelle. 

How to make Prawn Tagliatelle

    1. Cook the tagliatelle in boiling water for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and return to the pan.

    2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a frying pan and add the chilli, garlic and prawns and cook for 1-2 minutes.

    3. Toss into the tagliatelle and stir in the fresh chives and lemon juice. Season to taste.
